One scorer surprisingly able, another satisfactory (4,6)
I believe the answer is:
bela bartok
'one scorer' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'surprisingly able another satisfactory' is the wordplay.
'surprisingly' is an anagram indicator.
'another' becomes 'bart' (I can't explain this - if you can you should give a lot more credence to this answer).
'satisfactory' becomes 'ok' (similar in meaning).
'able' anagrammed gives 'bela'.
'bela'+'bart'+'ok'='BELA BARTOK'
(Another definition for bela bartok that I've seen is " composer".)
I've seen this clue in The Times.
