One’s prepared to get a job and start again? (6)
I believe the answer is:
resume
'start again?' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'one's prepared to get a job' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'one' could be 'me' (a setter might use 'one' to humourously mean 'me') and 'me' is found in the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
'and' acts as a link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for resume that I've seen before include "Continue after a break" , "Carry on (with something adjourned)" , "Speak again" , "Abstract" , "Continue after pause" .)
