Crossword Genius

Page with original phrase, possibly (7)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

perhaps

'possibly' is the definition.
('perhaps' can be a synonym of 'possibly')

'page with original phrase' is the wordplay.
'page' becomes 'p'.
'with' says to put letters next to each other.
'original' indicates an anagram.
'phrase' with letters rearranged gives 'erhaps'.
'p'+'erhaps'='PERHAPS'

(Other definitions for perhaps that I've seen before include "Not necessarily" , "say" , "Possibly, maybe" , "Could be, maybe" , "Quite possibly" .)

I've seen this clue in The Telegraph.
