Crossword Genius

Pause at home and print route out (12)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

interruption

'pause' is the definition.
(I know that pause can be written as interruption)

'home and print route out' is the wordplay.
'home' becomes 'in' ('he's home' can mean 'he's in').
'and' means one lot of letters go next to another.
'out' indicates anagramming the letters (out can mean wrong or inaccurate).
'print'+'route'='printroute'
'printroute' is an anagram of 'terruption'.
'in'+'terruption'='INTERRUPTION'

'at' is the link.

(Other definitions for interruption that I've seen before include "Temporary cessation" , "Something breaking continuity" , "Break in continuity" .)

I've seen this clue in The Telegraph.
