Ross

I believe the answer is:

actor

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'performer' is the definition.
(actor is a kind of performer)

'nothing to cart around perhaps' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'nothing' could be 'o' (looks like zero - 0) and 'o' is present in the answer.
an anagram of 'cart' is 'actr' which is within the remaining letters.
No letters remain.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).

'with' is the link.

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for actor that I've seen before include "Theatrical performer" , "Films/stage worker" , "ham" , "Cruise maybe" , "Gielgud, say" .)

I've seen this clue in the Evening Standard.
