Perpetually young, without regular income, not with (7)
I believe the answer is:
ageless
'perpetually young' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'without regular income not with' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'without' could be 'less' (I've seen this in another clue) and 'less' is present in the answer.
The remaining letters 'age' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for ageless that I've seen before include "Never growing old" , "Small amphibian" , "Forever young" , "unaffected by time" , "Enduring" .)
