Person always writing notes (8)
I believe the answer is:
composer
'person' is the definition.
(composer is a kind of person)
'always writing notes' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'writing' could be 'r' (one of the traditional three R's of education) and 'r' is found in the answer.
The remaining letters 'compose' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for composer that I've seen before include "Weill, Weber or Webber" , "something to lessen anxiety?" , "Arnold, perhaps" , "Person creating original score" , "one to make notes" .)
