I cannot quite see how this works, but
'perhaps' could be 'eg' (for example) and 'eg' is found in the answer.
'50' could be 'l' (Roman numeral) and 'l' is located in the answer.
The remaining letters 'square' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
