Prepared for setter to replace a solution (6)
I believe the answer is:
remedy
'solution' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'prepared for setter to replace a' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'setter' could be 'me' (the setter of the clue) and 'me' is found in the answer.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for remedy that I've seen before include "answer" , "Medicine or therapy to cure" , "Medicine, treatment" , "Treatment; redress" , "Restorative" .)
