Problem with runaway soprano . . . go on (3)
I believe the answer is:
nag
'go on' is the definition.
The definition and answer can be both to do with communicating as well as being verbs in their base form.
Perhaps you can see a link between them that I don't see?
I cannot understand how the rest of the clue works.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for nag that I've seen before include "Scold; inferior horse" , "Worry; old horse" , "Poor horse" , "Keep criticising, hurting" , "its head to name the pub" .)
