'hot' could be 'h' (abbreviation eg on taps) and 'h' is found within the answer.
an anagram of 'uncle' is 'lunce' which is located in the left over letters.
The remaining letters 'liquids' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
