Pub order with stout? (5)
I believe the answer is:
round
'stout?' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'pub order' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'order' could be 'o' (abbreviation e.g. in British honours OM, OBE etc.) and 'o' is found within the answer.
The remaining letters 'rund' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
'with' is the link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for round that I've seen before include "A single shot" , "Encircling" , "18 holes of golf" , "ring" , "Circular - stage" .)
