Pull up in theatre before journey here and there
![Ross](/clue/static/ross-mug.min.png)
I believe the answer is:
re-prove
'pull up' is the definition.
Both the definition and answer are verbs in their base form.
Maybe you can see an association between them that I don't see?
'theatre before journey here and there' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'theatre' could be 'rep' (I've seen this in other clues) and 'rep' is located in the answer.
The remaining letters 'rove' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
'in' is the link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for re-prove that I've seen before include "Chide" , "Tell off" , "Rebuke, reprimand" , "Censure" , "Admonish" .)
