Punch three Roman figures (3)
I believe the answer is:
vim
'punch' is the definition.
(I've seen this in another clue)
'three roman figures' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'roman figures' could be 'vi' (Roman numerals for 6) and 'vi' is located in the answer.
A single letter 'm' remains which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for vim that I've seen before include "Pep (informal)" , "Liveliness" , "Energy and vigour" , "Pep and energy" , "Pizazz" .)
