Push your way in and snatch back the key (5)
I believe the answer is:
barge
'push' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'your way in and snatch back the key' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'way' could be 'e' (Compass direction - East) and 'e' is found in the answer.
'key' could be 'g' (musical key) and 'g' is found in the answer.
The remaining letters 'bar' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for barge that I've seen before include "Canal transport" , "force" , "Narrow boat" , "Possibly lighter" , "Cargo vessel" .)
