Crossword Genius

Quick, there's no time - run! (4)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

flee

'run' is the definition.
(I've seen this in other clues)

'quick there's no time' is the wordplay.
'quick' becomes 'fleet' (I've seen this before).
'there's no' indicates named letters should be taken away.
'time' becomes 't'.
'fleet' with 't' taken out is 'FLEE'.

(Other definitions for flee that I've seen before include "Do a runner" , "Cut and run" , "retreat" , "Take flight" , "rush" .)

I've seen this clue in The Independent.
