Range added new sheets (5)
I believe the answer is:
linen
'sheets' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'range added new' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'range' could be 'line' (I've seen this in other clues) and 'line' is present in the answer.
'new' could be 'n' (common abbreviation eg NT for New Testament) and 'n' is found within the answer.
No letters remain.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for linen that I've seen before include "Bed sheets etc" , "Spun fibres of flax" , "bedclothes perhaps" , "Type of cloth" , "Underclothes" .)
