Reform bring up diversity (9)
I believe the answer is:
rearrange
'reform' is the definition.
The definition and answer can be both related to change as well as being verbs in their base form.
Perhaps you can see an association between them that I can't see?
'bring up diversity' is the wordplay.
'bring up' becomes 'rear' (as in rearing children).
'diversity' becomes 'range' (I've seen this in another clue).
'rear'+'range'='REARRANGE'
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for rearrange that I've seen before include "Change the position of" , "Change things" , "resort" , "Put new structure" , "Rear anger (anag.)" .)
