Regarded as having vision (4)
I believe the answer is:
eyed
'regarded' is the definition.
(I've seen this in another clue)
'vision?' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'vision?' could be 'eye' (I've seen this in another clue) and 'eye' is found within the answer.
A single letter 'd' remains which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
'as having' is the link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for eyed that I've seen before include "Watched warily" , "Vegetable" , "Watched, looked at" , "Watched with interest" , "Ogled" .)
