I believe the answer is:

dilemma

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'a problem' is the definition.
(a dilemma is a problem)

'returning cover girl' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'cover' could be 'lemma' (lemma is a kind of cover) and 'lemma' is present in the answer.
'girl' could be 'di' and 'di' is present in the answer.
No letters remain.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).

'presents' acts as a link.

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for dilemma that I've seen before include "a problem for Shaw's doctor" , "Predicament" , "Catch-22" , "Situation requiring a choice between (equally unpleasant) options" , "tricky position" .)

I've seen this clue in The Globe and Mail.
