Roll of paper to move up (6)
I believe the answer is:
scroll
'roll of paper' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'move up' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'move' could be 'roll' (rolling is a type of movement) and 'roll' is found within the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
'to' is the link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for scroll that I've seen before include "Coiled parchment etc" , "Roll of papyrus" , "list" , "Rolled-up document, as one from the Dead Sea perhaps" , "Coiled parchment or paper" .)
