Saw the blind opposite (7)
I believe the answer is:
sighted
'saw' is the definition.
(saw -> seen -> sighted)
'the blind opposite' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
an anagram of 'the' is 'hte' which is within the answer.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for sighted that I've seen before include "Seen" , "able to observe" , "Espied" , "Picked out" , "Saw; able to see" .)
