Ross

I believe the answer is:

sedate

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'dignified style' is the definition.
'sedate' can be an answer for 'dignified' (I've seen this in another clue). I'm not sure about the 'style' bit.

'seated' is the wordplay.
'seated' can be anagrammed to 'SEDATE'.
However, I am not clear how the anagram is indicated.

'in' is the link.

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for sedate that I've seen before include "Decorous" , "Give calming drug to" , "Teased into being calm" , "not disturbed by passion or excitement?" , "Staid; put to sleep" .)

I've seen this clue in the Evening Standard.
