Second and third of companies securing capital, then one folding (7)
I believe the answer is:
origami
'one folding' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'second and third of companies securing capital' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'of' could be 'o' and 'o' is present in the answer.
'capital' could be 'riga' (Riga is an example) and 'riga' is found in the answer.
The remaining letters 'mi' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
'then' is the link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for origami that I've seen before include "Artwork with paper" , "Japanese art form -- I'm a giro (rev)" , "Paperwork, as it were" , "Japanese art of folding or tearing paper" , "Art of crafting objects from paper" .)
