Ross

I believe the answer is:

executive

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'senior worker' is the definition.
The definition and answer can be both people as well as being singular nouns.
Maybe you can see a link between them that I can't see?

'no longer energy reduction i've seen finally' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'energy' could be 'e' (physics symbol as in E=mc2) and 'e' is present in the answer.
'reduction' could be 'cut' (cut is a kind of reduction) and 'cut' is found in the answer.
'i've' could be 'ive' and 'ive' is found in the answer.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for executive that I've seen before include "Person or group with management powers" , "Branch of government charged with putting laws, agreements etc into effect" , "Company director" , "Administrator, manager" , "Big guns" .)

I've seen this clue in The Times.
