Separate and don't arrive together (4,5)
I believe the answer is:
come apart
'separate' is the definition.
(I know that separate can be written as come apart)
'don't arrive together' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'arrive' could be 'come' (coming is a kind of arriving) and 'come' is found in the answer.
The remaining letters 'apart' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
'and' is the link.
Can you help me to learn more?
