Shelter with or without husband (7)
I believe the answer is:
harbour
'shelter' is the definition.
(harbouring is a kind of sheltering)
'or without husband' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'husband' could be 'h' and 'h' is found within the answer.
The remaining letters 'arbour' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).
'with' acts as a link.
(Other definitions for harbour that I've seen before include "mole" , "Bear" , "provides shelter" , "Safe mooring for ships" , "Shelter for ships" .)
