Short-sighted view makes one's topic less timely (6)
I believe the answer is:
myopic
'short-sighted' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'view makes one's topic less timely' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'one's' could be 'my' (both can mean belonging to the person writing) and 'my' is found in the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for myopic that I've seen before include "lack of foresight" , "Unable to focus on distant objects" , "Condition of short-sightedness" , "Lacking foresight?" , "Imprudent" .)
