Shout for logs (6)
I believe the answer is:
timber
This could be a double definition.
'shout' is the first definition.
Although both the answer and definition are singular nouns, I cannot understand how they can define each other.
'for logs' is the second definition.
(I've seen this in another clue)
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for timber that I've seen before include "Lumber" , "22 [BEAM]" , "Wood for building, etc" , "Warning cry that a tree is about to fall" , "wooden" .)
