Side by side, kiss twice? (4,3,4)
I believe the answer is:
neck and neck
'side by side' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'kiss twice?' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'kiss' could be 'neck' (neck can informally mean to kiss) and 'neck' is located in the answer.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for neck and neck that I've seen before include "New lovers frequently do it" , "being close?" , "side by side" , "virtually inseparable" , "Keep on kissing" .)
