Skill in boat-building? (5)
I believe the answer is:
craft
'skill' is the definition.
(I know that craft is a type of skill)
'boat-building?' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'boat' could be 'raft' (I've seen this before) and 'raft' is found within the answer.
A single letter 'c' remains which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
'in' is the link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for craft that I've seen before include "Skill, cunning" , "Cunning in a well-built ship" , "boats" , "Cunning - trade" , "It requires special skill" .)
