Slave follows form (8)
I believe the answer is:
dogsbody
'slave' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'follows form' is the wordplay.
'follows' becomes 'dogs' (dog can mean to follow).
'form' becomes 'body' (I can't justify this - if you can you should give a lot more credence to this answer).
'dogs'+'body'='DOGSBODY'
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for dogsbody that I've seen before include "Drudge" , "Person doing menial jobs" , "Person given menial tasks" , "found in pets' cemetery?" , "One who carries out menial tasks for another" .)
