Smell of cod and your feet (5)
I believe the answer is:
odour
'smell' is the definition.
(I know that smell can be written as odour)
'of cod and your feet' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'of' could be 'o' and 'o' is found in the answer.
The remaining letters 'dour' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for odour that I've seen before include "Regard" , "Smell, scent" , "Bouquet" , "Stench" , "Any property detected by the olfactory system" .)
