Social networker using rather cute, brief epithet, say (7)
I believe the answer is:
tweeter
'social networker' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'rather cute brief epithet say' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'cute' could be 'twee' (twee can mean cute or pretty) and 'twee' is located in the answer.
The remaining letters 'ter' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
'using' is the link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for tweeter that I've seen before include "Robin, for one" , "One may follow another" , "Person sending a messages of fewer than 140 characters" , "High-frequency loudspeaker - small bird?" , "Social networker" .)
