Sodden and dishevelled, get pulled round back of hovel (10)
I believe the answer is:
bedraggled
'sodden and dishevelled' is the definition.
(both can mean untidy or messy)
'get pulled round back of hovel' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'get' could be 'be' ('get' can mean 'come to be') and 'be' is located in the answer.
The remaining letters 'draggled' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for bedraggled that I've seen before include "Wet and dirty" , "Dishevelled" , "muddy and dripping" , "Very untidy" , "Unkempt" .)
