I believe the answer is:

I believe this is a double definition.
'sordidness' is the first definition.
(I've seen this in another clue)
'immorality' is the second definition.
(I have seen 'Political immorality' mean 'sleaze' so perhaps 'immorality' could also mean 'sleaze')
