Start to strip... (3,3)
I believe the answer is:
tee off
This clue could be a double definition.
'start' is the first definition.
(I've seen this before)
'strip' is the second definition.
Although both the answer and definition are verbs in their base form, I don't see how one could define the other.
'to' is the link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for tee off that I've seen before include "Strike golf ball at beginning of each hole" , "Start play" , "Toffee (anag.)" , "Make first move, like golfer" , "Play the first stroke towards the green" .)
