'the arbour' is the definition.
('bower' can be a synonym of 'arbour')

'steal back and we hide' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'we' is within the answer.
The remaining letters 'bor' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This explanation may well be incorrect...

'in' acts as a link.

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for bower that I've seen before include "greenery?" , "bender?" , "Leafy recess" , "shady area" , "Shady garden place" .)

I've seen this clue in the Evening Standard.
