Still out of tune? (7)
I believe the answer is:
airless
'still' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'of tune?' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'tune?' could be 'air' (air can mean a piece of music) and 'air' is located in the answer.
The remaining letters 'less' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).
'out' acts as a link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for airless that I've seen before include "Stifling" , "Lacking ventilation" , "Still" , "Unventilated" , "Not ventilated" .)
