Stopped being fully occupied (6)
I believe the answer is:
filled
'occupied' is the definition.
('fill' can be a synonym of 'occupy')
'stopped being fully' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'being' could be 'fille' (fille is a kind of being) and 'fille' is found within the answer.
A single letter 'd' remains which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for filled that I've seen before include "Occupied the whole of" , "Glutted" , "Topped up" , "Repleted, satiated" .)
