Suddenly criticised for being aroused (6,2)
I believe the answer is:
turned on
'aroused' is the definition.
(I know that aroused can be written as turned on)
'suddenly criticised for being' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'being' could be 'don' (don is a kind of being) and 'don' is located in the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for turned on that I've seen before include "Suddenly attacked - state of ecstasy - high" , "Stimulated" , "Activated - aroused" , "TV working?" , "Feeling great excitement" .)
