... suddenly rush information into court - quite the opposite (5)
I believe the answer is:
swoop
'suddenly rush' is the definition.
'swoop' can be an answer for 'rush' (thesaurus). I am not certain of the 'suddenly' bit.
'information into court quite the opposite' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'court' could be 'woo' (both can mean to romance someone) and 'woo' is located in the answer.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for swoop that I've seen before include "Move rapidly down" , "Dive downwards" , "Rush suddenly" , "Pounce suddenly" , "Police raid" .)
