Sweet sort of order? (5-3)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

apple-pie

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

This could be a double definition.

'sweet' is the first definition.
(I've seen this before)

'sort of order?' is the second definition.
'apple pie' can be an answer for 'order?' (I have seen 'such order' mean 'apple pie' so perhaps 'order' could also mean 'apple pie'). I am not certain of the 'sort of' bit.

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for apple-pie that I've seen before include "Sweet (in good order?)" , "Perfect order -- bed jokily made" , "(Characteristically American) sweet" , "Common dessert" , "Dish - order - bed" .)

I've seen this clue in The Telegraph.
