Ross

I believe the answer is:

irons

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'golf clubs' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)

'tax-men going around ontario' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'going' could be 'on' (both can mean functioning or activated) and 'on' is located in the answer.
This may be the basis of clue (or it may be nonsense).

'get' is the link.

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for irons that I've seen before include "British actor" , "in which one is restrained" , "cuffs" , "English player" , "Presses clothes" .)

I've seen this clue in The Hindu.
