Tedious procedure for making hole (6)
I believe the answer is:
boring
'tedious' is the definition.
(I know that tedious can be written as boring)
'procedure for making hole' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'hole' could be 'o' (O looks like a hole) and 'o' is found in the answer.
The remaining letters 'bring' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for boring that I've seen before include "Mentally wearying" , "Drilling - it's monotonous" , "Tedious, of no interest" , "Tedious and tiring" , "Dull and repetitive, a turn-off" .)
