Teetering arrow shooter lifts jewellery (8)
I believe the answer is:
wobbling
'teetering' is the definition.
The definition and answer can be both to do with motion as well as being present participle verbs.
Perhaps they are linked in a way I don't understand?
'arrow shooter lifts jewellery' is the wordplay.
'arrow shooter' becomes 'bow' (I've seen this in another clue).
'lifts' says the letters should be written backwards (I've seen 'lifted' mean this (going up in down clue)).
'jewellery' becomes 'bling' (informal term for jewellery).
'bow' written backwards gives 'wob'.
'wob'+'bling'='WOBBLING'

(Other definitions for wobbling that I've seen before include "Unsteady; trembling" , "Quivering" , "Unstable" .)
