Teller’s way in step? (4)
I believe the answer is:
gait
This could be a double definition.
'teller's way' is the first definition.
'gait' can be an answer for 'way' (I have seen 'Way of walking' mean 'gait' so perhaps 'way' could also mean 'gait'). I'm not sure about the 'teller's' bit.
'step?' is the second definition.
(I've seen this in another clue)
'in' acts as a link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for gait that I've seen before include "walkway?" , "Deportment" , "Bearing" , "Manner of walking or running" , "Style of walking" .)
