The end perhaps of Turkey’s objections recounted by ministers (7,4)
I believe the answer is:
parsons nose
'the end' is the definition.
(I have seen 'end of poultry' mean 'parsons nose' so perhaps 'end' could also mean 'parsons nose')
'recounted by ministers' is the wordplay.
'recounted' becomes 'nose' (I am not sure about this - if you are sure you should give a lot more credence to this answer).
'by' means one lot of letters go next to another.
'ministers' becomes 'parsons' ('parson' can be a synonym of 'minister').
'nose' put after 'parsons' is 'PARSONS NOSE'.
'perhaps of turkey's objections' is the link.
I am not very happy about this link. Some or all of it may belong to another bit of the clue.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for parsons nose that I've seen before include "bit of a chicken" , "Fleshy part of bird's tail" , "Part of a cooked fowl" , "Fatty extremity of cooked fowl (colloq.)" , "clerical feature" .)
