Crossword Genius

The English translation, say, is no problem (4)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

easy

'no problem' is the definition.
(I've seen this in other clues)

'the english translation say' is the wordplay.
'the english' becomes 'e' (abbreviation).
'translation' indicates an anagram.
'say' is an anagram of 'asy'.
'e'+'asy'='EASY'

'is' is the link.

(Other definitions for easy that I've seen before include "Simple - not fussy" , "for a piece of cake" , "Obliging; go carefully" , "Simple (like the living in 1 across)" , "Posing no difficulty" .)

I've seen this clue in the Evening Standard.
