'the ones' is the definition.
Although both the answer and definition are plural nouns, I cannot see how they can define each other.

'sadie could give a fellow?' is the wordplay.
'sadie' can be anagrammed to 'IDEAS'.
But, I am not clear how the anagram is indicated.

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for ideas that I've seen before include "Aside (anag.)" , "Thoughts from Sadie" , "Thoughts, personal views" , "Thoughts, creative perhaps" , "Notions, concepts" .)
